Ingrid was born in Greytown, Kwa Zulu Natal, in 1957 and grew up there, attending both the junior and high school in Greytown. Following matriculation, she moved to Pietermartizburg where she underwent her nursing and midwifery training at Grey's Hospital from 1975 to 1981, working as clinical midwifery tutor.

Then, after a stint as a medical rep in Durban, Ingrid's daughter Jacqueline was born in 1984. Then she moved to the community clinic in Pinetown where she served 12 years as community health nurse (from 1984 to 1996). She married her husband Gerald, in 1991.

1997 saw a move to New Zealand, where she spent a year doing casual work in Auckland, and taking care of Jacqueline who developed acute leukaemia. Then the family moved to Hamilton and Ingrid spent a decade working as clinical, and subsequently, general manager at an aged care facility.

In 2007, her daughter Jacqueline married Duncan Phillips, a Kiwi, and they moved across the ditch to Perth a few months later. In 2009, Ingrid and her husband also moved to Perth.

Thanks for the marriage document on Ingrid - I made a few adjustments accordingly. Still needs further research.

Ingrid, hi, we have been able to delete these incorrectly spelled duplicates. Those that have not been deleted need to be merged. And those that are not duplicates need to be validated with primary records. We strongly recommend a breather [meaning not creating new profiles but validating the existing ones with properly cited & sourced primary records] to adjust to WikiTree being a totally different forum / program than other genealogical platforms. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to ask. We realize how intimidating and difficult adapting to WikiTree can be.

Welkom op WikiTree! Jou stamvader sal waarskynlik Dirk Coetsee (1655 - 1725) aka "Dirck, Derk" Coetzee, Couché, Coetsie, Coetse, Coets, Coetsius, Coussé wees.

Hi Ingrid, this is a friendly request to please check before creating profiles. You have created many duplicates and have made a lot more work for us. Please wait for further instructions from the research coordinators of the Dutch Cape Colony project before you continue. I'll have to see first if I can have those duplicates that you have created today, removed.

Hi Ingrid,

Thanks for adding profiles to WikiTree! When you are ready, do you know how to add sources for your info? Here's a page with more information about sourcing:

"Own Family Tree" isn't a sufficient source for WikiTree.
