I have been researching for 9 years and have been on a lot of trips collecting documents and photos and I guess I have the most about people from Scott County Tn. I volunteered at a historical society and can add things most people never know about..some of the names I am researching are Daugherty,Childers and especially Coffey,In fact most of the Coffey and related family photos and research on here are mine, copied and added without my permission by Stephanie Sanchez. I put a lot of time into researching them and will put as much time into helping someone else. Some of the other documents and photos I have are Melich,Stanley,Crabtree,Byrd,Adams ,Brewster and King if anyone needs those.

My great grandparents are Cap Coffey and Lettie McBride ,Cap's parents James Coffey and Sarah Sumpter,Jame's parents Reuben Coffey and Millie Morris.

Jordan Fitzgerald Coffey (Coffey-4868) was added by John Graham on 5 Mar 2022 so i Adopted it, i knew that Coffey-4868 was the same as Coffey-1393, because they had same parents and I had to merge his son Schylar Coffey (abt.1806-bef.1880) into Schyler Coffey (abt.1806-bef.1880). (Coffey-4867 into Coffey-2570. Jordan Fitzgerald Coffey is my 4th great-grandfather. There is also another Jordan Fitzgerald Coffey (Coffey-4818) i didn't even know about that one. i am going set up a merge between Coffey-4868 and Coffey-1393.

I have a portrait of this Smith family on my Ancestry tree (Smith-Purrington). Also, I have an account of my visit to the family home in Russell Co., KY, just before it was taken for the construction of Wolf Creek Dam about 1950. Also, there are some stories told me by my grandfather. Stories and photos are my special interest. Please feel free to read and copy any of my posted material--just give source. Loraine
Thank you for letting us know where the pictures originate from. I apologize for whoever copied them without giving due credit or permission but thank you for offering further pics. We would love whatever you are willing to give for sally coffey.

Congratulations, you have now been a WikiTree member for over a month! Here are some further ideas to help you make the most of our site.

Beyond The Basics of WikiTree is a guide to some more advanced features of WikiTree.

If you would like to help out in other areas, the opportunities can be found at Volunteers Needed.

If you haven’t found us already, WikiTree is active on many Social Sites. We also have a blog with news of WikiTree events and further ideas from WikiTree members.

Hi Theresa,

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful. Free Space pages are wiki pages for supplementing your family history. They can be used to profile anything of significance such as a special pet, a meaningful event, a school you attended, a family heirloom .... They're "anything pages". Not sure what to include in a profile? Check out our Biography Ideas and Styles and Standards help pages. Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies. Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations. If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page! John Beeson WikiTree Mentor

Hello,

Thank you for joining WikiTree. As a WikiTree Mentor I am available to answer any questions or help solve any issues you may be having. How is your experience with Wikitree going? Our G2G Forum is searchable or you can post a question there.

Do you have Royal Ancestors? They are already here on Wikitree! Rather than create duplicate profiles for them, please contact the EuroAristo Project to discuss connecting your family line to their profiles.

The Help Index is also an important place to find how to do most tasks.

Feel free to ask me via my profile page if you have any questions.

Hello Theresa!

I just wanted to take a second to welcome you to the WikiTree family and thank you for volunteering! You're now a confirmed member.

If you already have or you are planning to upload a GEDCOM, you might want to check out Before You Import Your GEDCOM.

Keep in mind that our primary vision is to build a collaborative tree with just one profile per person, so please make sure to look for duplicates on WikiTree before adding a profile.

Our Mentor Team are a friendly bunch of volunteers who will be glad to help you with specific problems if you have any.

If I can help in any way, please don't hesitate to ask :)

Happy hunting!

Eowyn ~
