Bonnie Coffey Rash, 89, of Crossnore died on Tuesday August 7, 2007 at the Life Care Center in Banner Elk.
A native of Avery County, she was the daughter of the late Gus F. and Betty Beard Coffey.
She had worked as a legal secretary and bookkeeper for J.V Bowers & Crossnore School, Inc. Bonnie was a member of the Crossnore Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband Ray Rash.
Survivors include her son, Toby Rash and wife Donetta of Crossnore; two grandsons, Ben Rash of Crossnore and Mark Rash of Al Asad, Iraq and great grandson Harley Rash.
