Biography

Elisha E Coffin is the son of Andrew Coffin (1774-1853) and Frances (Sanderson) Coffin (1777-1844). According to The Coffin Family, Nantucket Historical Association, 1962, Andrew and Frances had ten children, including Elisha E ^[1].

Elisha married twice. His first marriage was to Emma Jackson about 1826 on Prince Edward island, Canada. His second marriage was to Emma's sister, Elizabeth Jackson on 12 Mar 1841 on Prince Edward Island, Canada ^[2].
