Charles married late in life to Emma McLaren. We get her maiden name from the 1911 census when her mother was living with the couple [2]. Also living in the household is a young girl by the name of Margaret Bertges. She is designated as a "domestic" and not a daughter. Charles and Emma did not have any children.
