Research notes
Has anyone found James' death cert.?
Many trees show him as the son of James COGHILL and Isabella MURRAY, but to date I've found neither a baptism, nor his death cert., but have found a couple of these names baptizing a dtr Christian in Olrig (1792).

DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with James by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with James:
Son-in-law Alex AULD was the informant for Elizabeth MANSON's death
