Biography

Henry Cohard was the child of a victim of the Cherry Mine Disaster on 13-Nov-1909

Henry was 7 years old when his father died in the Cherry Mine Disaster.^[1]

In 1910, Henry lived in Westfield, Bureau County, with his mother, brothers, and maternal grandfather. He was 7 years old, and had immigrated in 1903.^[2]

1920 - living with his mother and siblings in Peru, LaSalle County. Age 17; immigrated in 1905; naturalized citizen; worked at a clock works.^[3]

Henry died on February 17, 1992.^[4]
