Paul was born in 1917. He was the son of Isaac Lechovich and Jennie Kashdan. (Isaac and Jennie Cohen.) He passed away in 2014.
He had a very interesting life, and his book, "The Bitter End Hanging Out at America's Nightclub," published in 2002, goes into most of it. He was an artist, furniture designer and builder. He was very involved in the music business and owned the Greenwich Village Club, the Bitter End. He was greatly responsible for the careers of many musicians.
