Elizabeth "Lizzie" Cohen (later Benjamin) was born in 1857 in Tamworth, New South Wales, Australia, the daughter of William Cohen and Sarah Cohen. [1][2]
BENJAMIN—COHEN.—July 13, at the residence of the bride's mother, 30, Alberto-terrace, Darlinghurst Road, Sydney, by the Rev. A. B. Davis, assisted by the Rev. A. A. Levi, Arthur S. Benjamin, of Brisbane, third son of S. Benjamin, Brunswick House, Clifton Gardens, Maida Hill, London, to Lizzie, second daughter of the late William Cohen, Tamworth. [4]
They had at least three daughters, including May Miriam Benjamin (1882–1885), who was born in Brisbane, Queensland, Australia, [2]also Gladys Benjamin and Marjorie W Benjamin.
