Deacon in Plainfield Church. Representative for Plainfield in 1772=3, & 17774.

married1 Ruth Spaulding married2 Mrs. Elizabeth (Pratt) Webb She married married Rev. Mr. Isaac Jones 30 NOV 1779.

He had no children but his nephew Luther Smith, son of Lemuel Smith, lived with him and bought the old homestead aftere his death.
