Biography
Susan (Colby) Murphy is a part of US Black heritage.
Susan (Colby) Murphy was a Marylander.
Susan was born in 1810. She passed away in 1915.
Her son, John Henry Murphy, would become the publisher of Afro American newspapers. Her grandson would be a leader of the Civil Rights Movement in Baltimore, Maryland.
