Biography

Elvira Aristena Colby was born in July, 1865 in Holland, Erie, New York, United States, daughter of Jonas S Colby (1827–1911) and Sally Catherine Wagoner (1830–1876).

In 1870, Elvira (4) was living in Holland, Erie, New York.

In 1875, Elvira (9) was living in Buffalo, Erie, New York.

In 1880, Elvira (14) was living in Holland, Erie, New York.

Elvira (14) married Gerrit M Gould (22) (born in 1857 in Erie County, New York, USA; son of Merritt Gould and Elvira C (Kimball) Gould) in 1880. Their daughter was Nina Pearl Gould (1890–1969).

Elvira (27) married Frank Joseph Lucas (23) (born on September 1, 1869 in Canada) in 1893. Their children were:

In 1900, Elvira (35) was living in Sardinia, Erie, New York.

Elvira died on November 21, 1903 in Chaffee, Erie, aged 38. She was buried in Protection Cemetery.[1]
