Biography

Lived in Creeting All Saints, buried in Creeting St Mary. He occupied, with others, the land Saffron Panes in Creeting St Mary (source: will of Elizabeth Turner) Grandfather William Ruffell left him £20 in 1771. Samuel was a member of the Needham Market Society for the prosecution of Felons. Ipswich Journal 24 Dec 1819 "died Wednesday sennight after a long illness aged 73, Mr Samuel Colchester of Creeting All Saints"
