Martha Agnes Coldwell was born on 8 April 1899 at Newtonville, Kings, Nova Scotia, Canada, the daughter of Edward Coldwell and Margaret Anne Aker.[1][2]
In 1901, Edward Coldwell, a farmer, his wife Maggie, 9 children and his mother-in-law lived in Ward 7, Horton Township, Kings, Nova Scotia.

William Belcher Eaton, a farmer of Lower Canard, and Martha Agnes "Caldwell" of New Minas were married on 7 Apr 1920 at Canard, Kings, Nova Scotia. His parents were James E Eaton and Grace Belcher. The bride and groom were both baptists. The ceremony was performed by Baptist clergyman A. J. Prosser of Upper Canard, with witnesses Margaret Caldwell of New Minas and Grace Eaton of Lower Canard.[4]
Martha died in 1999 and is buried at the Jawbone Corner Cemetery Canard, Kings County, Nova Scotia, Canada.[5]
