Eva Maude Coldwell was born on 20 March 1872 in Upper Gaspereaux, Kings, Nova Scotia, Canada.[1][2]
In 1881, Newton Coldwell, a farmer, lived with this wife Pheby and 6 children, including 9 year old Maud.[3]
Wesley E. Bishop, a bachelor farmer born in Bishopville, and Maud E. Coldwell, a spinster born in Newtonville, were married by license in a Baptist ceremony at Newtonville, Kings, Nova Scotia, on 26 February 1890. His parents were Robert and isabella, and hers were Newton and Phebe. The ceremony was performed by Rev. M. P. Freeman, with Watson and James Bishop as witnesses.[4]
In 1901, Wesley Biship, and his wife Maud and their 3 children were living in Horton Township, Kings, Nova Scotia. Brother-in-law Justin Coldwell was living with the family[5]
In 1916, "Colwell" Bishop lived in Calgary, Alberta, Canada, with her husband Wesley Bishop, a carpenter, two children and Wesley's father, Robert Bishop.[6]
