Elta H. Coldwell, 34 b. Newtonville, Kings, Nova Scotia, the daughter of Daniel and Harriet Coldwell, married Burpee Allison Coldwell at Wolfville, Kings, on 29 June 1916. Burpee was the son of Oman Coldwell and Eliza Davison. He was a 37 year old divorced farmer born in Gaspereaux.[3][4][5]
On 1921, Burpee Coldwell, a farmer, and Etta Coldwell lived on Union Street, Gaspereau, Kings, Nova Scotia, with 3 children and Burpee's widowed mother.[6]
A "Mrs. Burpee A. Coldwell" is shown as a widow living at Groves Point, Cape Breton North-Victoria, Nova Scotia, in 1949,[7] however Burpee Allison Coldwell didn't died until 9 Aug 1954, at Davison Street, Kings, Nova Scotia, and he was married at the time of his death.[8]
