DNA Connections
It may be possible to confirm family relationships with Daniel by comparing test results with other carriers of his Y-chromosome or his mother's mitochondrial DNA.
However, there are no known yDNA or mtDNA test-takers in his direct paternal or maternal line.
It is likely that these autosomal DNA test-takers will share some percentage of DNA with Daniel:
Coldwell-967 and Coaldwell-25 appear to represent the same person because: they are. The information is the same just the last name is spelled slightly differently.
The dates in this line appear to be problematic. Daniel was born in 1792, but he was having children in 1801. Daniel was the son of Jonathan, who was born in 1776, so Jonathan was only 16 when Daniel was born. Daniel's birth makes better sense in the 1770s, but that makes the problem with his father even worse.
