While is is possible that Ebenezer was active in the revolution for independence, he would have been in his 60's and 70's. I have been unable to locate the following using SAR Patriot Research System. (5/28/2019 Pat

Hello Anne. I'm a Genea-newbie, and am making a concerted effort to verify/source each of my ancestor connections that familysearch claims. Abigail Cole (Cole-3288) is my gg. And, yes, FS says her parents are Daniel and Mercy Cole, which you rightfully dispute. (Thanks much for that). Questions: (1) should one correct FS? And in general, do wikitree veterans bother with correcting FS or leave the errors? (2) is her surname "Cole" in question, (3) any pointers to how to find her parentage. Thanks much, Lizzie Hill (pejsa-1)
Daniel Cole (1666-1736) in his 1635 will left his estate to his siblings etc. No mention was made of a daughter Abigail. She is not accepted as the child of Mercy and Daniel by the Mayflower Society. Further the source you have listed , by Higgins, does not name the parents of Abigail Cole. I was unable to lacate the birth of Abigail Cole in Eastham in 1705 at American Ancestors.
