Biography
When Betsey Cole was born on November 26, 1799, in New York, her father, Wilson, was 23, and her mother, Mary, was 38. She had 11 brothers and three sisters. She died on January 9, 1879, in Walworth, Wisconsin, having lived a long life of 79 years.
