Biography

Sarah Cole was born 9 July 1802 and baptised 1 August 1802 at St.Pancras with her twin sister Catherine. Sarah married Jeremiah Plume, a journeyman carpenter, on 29 June 1823 at Old Church St.Pancras. In 1841 Jeremiah 45 a carpenter lived with Sarah 37 a shopkeeper in Morning lane, Hackney. In 1851 they lived at 20b Hackley Street Hackney. In 1861 Jeremiah was a journeyman carpenter aged 62 and living at 20 Glaskins Cottages Hackney with Sarah 57 and a nephew Samuel E Taylor aged 5 from Hackney. Jeremiah was born at Enfield 10 Feb 1799 and died 12 May 1864 Hackney leaving a will proved by Sarah Plume of 20 Hockley Street, Hackney. no issue Sarah died in summer 1866, less than a year after her twin.
