Elvin C. Cole, son of Lewis and Hannah (Rogers) Cole, was born on 4 Dec. 1812 at Hector, Thompson County, New York.[1][2]
He married Lydia Tunison, daughter of Philip and Magdalene Tunison, on 7 March 1837. Lydia died on 17 Dec. 1843. They had one son Amos R. Cole.[1]
He married Mary Ann Allen, widow of Darius Cole and daughter of Spencer and Sophia Allen. Mary died 17 Sep. 1849, they had one son Allen.[1]
He married Elvira Laura Dayton, daughter of Azor H. Dayton and Amanda (Mattson) Dayton, on 2 May 1852. They had two children Emma C. and Elvin D.[1]
Elvin died on 6 Jan. 1889 at Rollin, Lenawee County, Michigan and was buried at Maple Grove Cemetery, Hudson, Lenawee County, Michigan. His memorial has photos and links to those of family members.[2]
