John Henry Cole was born on June 9, 1926 in Eagle Grove, Wright, Iowa. He is the son of William Cole and Amy Hart. [1][2] He lived with his parents and brothers, William and Eugene, in Eagle Grove in 1930. His father was a meat market merchant. [3] His mother died in 1938. By 1940, his father had remarried Emma (last name unknown). He had a younger sister, Mary J. [4]
John married Jessie Elizabeth Cole on July 26, 1944 in Grand Haven, Ottawa, Michigan. They lived in Eagle Grove, Wright, Iowa until moving to Houghton Lake, Roscommon, Michigan in 1964.
John died in 2002 and was buried in Roscommon Township Cemetery, Houghton Lake, Roscommon, Michigan. [5]Find A Grave: Memorial #168601237
