From History of Allegheny County, Pennsylvania:
George Henry Cole, gardener, Emsworth, was born in Allegheny City, Feb. 25, 1838, son of George Washington and Dorcas W. (Bragdon) Cole;He was united in marriage Dec. 20, 1860, with Annie Mary McMillen, of Sharon, Pa.
Nine children were born to Mr. and Mrs. Cole, five of whom are living: . Minnie F., Nettie May. Sadie A., Harry E. and Elmer C. Nettie May was educated in Allegheny, and is cashier of St. George hotel, Evansville, Ind.; the remaining children are at home.

GEORGE H. COLE, a well-known resident of Neville township, Allegheny Co., Pa., was born in Allegheny city, Feb. 21, 1838, son of George W. and Dorcas W. Cole,...He was married to Anna M., daughter of Charles and Martha McMillin, and they have had ten children born to them, the living ones of whom are: Minnie, Nettie May, Sadie A., Harry E. and Elmer C.
