Biography
Wife of Harmon Hopper. Daughter of James & Mary Ann Livingston Cole.
Sarah's exact date of death is unknown. The following was provided by Cousi James Albert Hopper: "I know she was alive in 1850 because she is shown as living with her daughter, Nancy (Hopper) Robinson in the 1850 census for Claibourne Co., TN. I believe she passed away in about 1854. The only actual information I know of regarding her dod is Eli Goin's letter of 1855 to his brother Isaac Goin"
It is said by family both Harmon & Sarah are buried in unmarked graves in Pleasant Point Cemetery on Goin Road, Claiborne County, TN.
Harmon and Sarah "Sally" Cole Hopper were charter members of the Big Barren Primitive Baptist Church, Located on Edwards Road in Claiborne Co., TN
