Biography

Keziah Cole was born in 1750 in Eastham, Massachusetts, the child of Israel Cole and Remember Burgess.

Keziah Cole married her distant cousin, Sampson Cole, in 1773, in Washington County, Virginia, when she was 21 years old. They had one child, Samuel Cole, during their marriage. Keziah died as a young mother in 1778 at the age of 28 as the result of a fall from her horse.
