Disputed Origins
Several respected publications have placed Elizabeth as the daughter of James Jr. and Mary Tilson Cole. According to reseacher Robert Wakefield, this is an error.[1]
Biography
When Elizabeth Cole was born on February 16, 1657, in Plymouth, Massachusetts, her father, James, was 31, and her mother, Mary, was 30. She married Elkanah Cushman Sr. on February 10, 1677, in her hometown. They had three children during their marriage, Elkanah, John and Jabez. She died a week after giving birth to Jabez. She died as a young mother on January 4, 1682, in Plymouth, Massachusetts, at the age of 24.
- Other sources have 2 Jan '81 as her d. date. But I haven't found any source that shows Jabez's death different than 28 Dec '81. I'm showing '82 as her death a week after her son was born.

[Living Cole]
Cole-4343 and Cole-654 appear to represent the same person because: Clear duplicates as Hugh didn't have a 'Elizabeth'. Death dts are the same. Same last name noted but -4343 doesn't show a spouse or children.
