Biography

John Cole was born 14 Feb 1651/52 at Middletown, Connecticut, son of Sarah (Rusco; abt.1626-1688) & Henry Cole ^[1],^[2].

He married before 1683 at Boston, Massachusetts,^{[citation needed]} Mary (Gallup; 1665-abt.1731) [b. 1665 @ Stonington, Connecticut, daughter of Hannah (Lake) & John Gallup]; d. abt. 1731 in Middlesex County, Connecticut].

In July 1783, John and his wife Mary were admitted into the Stonington, CT church. Their sons John and William were baptized on 14 October 1683 in Stonington.^[3]

John Cole died at Boston, Massachusetts. The date is equivocal, possibly ranging from about 1714 to 1721 ^{[citation needed]}.
