Biography

Martha (Coleman) Hall was born on 25 Jun 1867 in New Zealand, daughter of James Coleman (~1827 - 1885) and Sarah (Osmond) Coleman (~1825 - 1888).[1]

Her siblings were:

  4. James Alfred Coleman (~1861 - 1904)

Martha (18) married George James Shotter (~27)(~1858 - 1889) on 21 Jan 1886 in Hawera, Taranaki, New Zealand.[2] Their children were:

  1. Clara Agnes (Shotter) Gatton (1887 - 1911)
  2. Ivy Beatrice Shotter (1888 - ).

Martha (23) married Henry William Hall (~24)(1866 - 1934) on 25 November 1890 in New Zealand[3]. Their children were:

  1. Royce Landon Hall (1892 - 1961)
  2. Irene Madge (Hall) Weaver (1894 - 1970)
  3. Allan Douglas Hall (1895 - 1983)
  4. William Henry Hall (1897 - ~1984)
  5. Dorothy Jessie (Hall) Campbell (1899 - 1990).

Martha died on 7 May 1902 in Wellington, New Zealand aged 34.[4] She is buried in Karori Cemetery, Karori, Wellington.[5]
