John Coleman is a part of US Black heritage.

John was born about 1861 in Virginia. He married Phoebe Holt around 1885. They raised a number of children in Banister, Halifax County, Virginia where John farmed. He owned his own home in Banister in 1910. Nothing further is known at this time.
