Biography

Calvin Calhoun Coles was born on March 1832 in Wilson, Tennessee, United States. He was the son of Robert Neely Coles and Frances Jane Walters. He married Mattie A. Cain on 1 August 1854, in Davidson, Tennessee, and together they raisedc a family. He died on 20 September 1875, in his hometown of Wilson, Tennessee at the age of 43.
