Biography
Elsie was born in 1914, the daughter of Mabel Coles.[1] It is possible her father was her grandfather Henry Coles as he was sent to prison for incest in 1913. He is later wanted by police for failing to maintain Elsie Joyce Coles, his daughter.[2]
She married William Frith in 1933.[3]
She passed away in 1962[4] and was buried in Old Gorge Cemetery, Woodville, Manawatu-Whanganui, New Zealand.[5]
