A very old resident of Tingha in ths person of Thomas Coles, passed away on Saturday, October 12, aged 79 years. The deceased who was born in Northamptonshire. England, had resided in this State for a period of 61 years the last 36 of which were spent in Tingha, he was well known to a large circle of friends. One son has recently returned from the front and three grandsons are still on active service. The remains were interred in the Tingha Cemetery on Sunday October 13, Rev. H. Border officiating. Mr E, C.Walker had charge of funeral arrangements.
