The origins of Julien Collet are unknown and his parents are unknown. After living in Nova Scotia at the fork in Crapaud, he settled in Bouctouche New Brunswick.[1]

Julien married Rosalie Thériault, daughter of Alexis Thériaut and Madeleine Robichaud in about 1775 as the first child was born about 1776. [1]The couple had seven children:

  1. Joseph-Stanislas Collet
  2. Osée Collet
  3. François Collet
  4. Julie Collet
  5. Julien Collet
  6. Anne-Marie Collet
  7. Joseph Collet

Julien died in Bouctouche on October 9, 1802 at the age of about 50 years and was buried the next day.[1][2]

"L'origine de Julien Collet nous est inconnue. Après avoir vécu en Nouvelle-Écosse et à la fourche à Crapaud, il s'est établi à Bouctouche, où il est décédé le 9 octobre 1802, à l'âge de cinquante ans."[1]

Julien épousa Rosalie Thériault, fille d'Alexis Thériault et Madeleine Robichaud. Le couple a eu six enfants: Joseph-Stanislas, Osée, Julie, Julien, Anne-Marie, et Joseph.[1]
