Biography
When James Earvin Collett was born on December 18, 1899, in Greenville, Texas,[1] his father, Isaac, was 28 and his mother, Loretta, was 25. He married Thelma Olena West on March 7, 1925, in Wagoner, Oklahoma.[2] They had five children:
Irvin Leroy (1926–1977),[3] married Paulina Marie Helterbrand
James Isaac (1928–1985), married Bobbie Earline Edwards
Marvin Earl (1931–2009), married Edna Izella Campbell
Thelma Lemay (1936–2001),[4] married George O. Smith
James Leon (1939–2006), married 1. Patricia June Flores, 2. Laura LNU
He died on October 16, 1950,[5] in Stanislaus, California,[6] at the age of 50, and was buried in Modesto, California. [7]
