OBITUARY OF WAYNE COLLETTE[1]
“Hot Rod” Wayne Collette passed away on August 28, 2017 at age 73. The Funeral Service is 2 p.m. Saturday, September 2, 2017 in the chapel of Sellars Funeral Home, Lebanon TN. The family will be receiving friends from 1 p.m. until the service.
Wayne was a journeyman carpenter who worked on projects such as cooling towers. His primary interest was building and restoring hot rods. He is survived by wife Barbara Hayes; children Linda K. Collette of Arkansas, Jim Flaningan of Illinois, Cheryl Thurman of TN, and John Hayes of AL; siblings Curtis Collett (Erlene) of Mumford AL, Allen Collette of Anniston AL, Barbara Reynolds (Jay) of Century FL, Marie Pierce (Doyle) of Tulsa OK, Ethel Rollins (Tom), and Joe Collett of Gallatin TN, and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. He is preceded in death by parents Etta Mae Chandler and Arthur Leroy Collett, brothers Roy Collett and Jerry Collett, and sister Sue Bradshaw.
