Biography

When Naomi Elizabeth Collett was born on April 20, 1873, in Cherokee, Georgia, her father, Archer, was 28, and her mother, Susannah, was 21. She married David Calaway Coltrane on November 3, 1895, in Forsyth, Georgia;[1] they were the parents of:

  • Infant Son (1897–1897)
  • George W. (1898–1901)
  • Carl Veston (1901–1989)
  • Roxie Isabelle (Coltrane) Wehunt (1903–1997)[2]
  • Rosa Victoria (1906–1922)[3]
  • John Archibald (1909–1983)
  • Ruby Jane (Coltrane) Cowart (1912–1942)

David died in 1918 and Naomi died on December 11, 1966,[4] in Ball Ground, Georgia,[5] at the age of 93, and was buried there.[6]
