Minerva Elizabeth Collett was born c.1816 in Kentucky (or Missouri).[1]
She married Carter P. Taylor (1805-1834) on July 30, 1829 in Howard County, MO;[2]; I am unsure if they had issue.
She married next to Stephen Drinkard (1812–1838);[3] their known children are:
George Washington Drinkard (1834–1910)
Frances Marion Drinkard (1836–1855)
Stephen A. Drinkard (1838–1916)
Minerva married last to James Oliver King (1820–1904) on April 15, 1841 in Chariton Co., Missouri.[4] Their known issue (as presented on 1850 census records) are:
James W. King (c.1842)
Nancy Jane King (1844-1912),[5] m1.James Franklin Melone, m2.FNU Nichols
Nathan Martis King (1846-1931),[6] m.Mary Frances Thomas (1846-1927) c.1862
Mary E. King (c.1849)
James and "Mary" were enumerated (record below) on September 16, 1850 in Monroe, Missouri; Minerva is said to have died in 1853. James is enumerated on July 10, 1860 in Clay (Monroe Co.), MO (census record below) with his new wife, Talitha (nee Thomas, b.1827 NC, d.1897 MO). There is an 8yr old child, Joel King, enumerated but other records show his parents were Morgan King (unk-c.1860) and Mary Ann Titus (1820-1884), likely he was a nephew.
