John Henry Albert Collett was born in 1876 in Bristol, Gloucestershire, England to John Collett and Margaret Louisa (Goodfield) Collett. His birth was registered in Clifton, Gloucestershire in the second quarter of the year, with mother's maiden name Goodfield.^[1]
