Biography

George Henry Collicutt was born on April 5, 1777[1][2] in Chester, Lunenburg, Nova Scotia. He was the son of George Henry Collicut and Elizabeth Hoagg. He married Catherine Barbara Corkum in Chester on January 10, 1805.[3] [4]

George appears in the Nova Scotia Census of 1838[5] living on the Windsor Road. The children's ages match his family presuming the older ones had by now moved away from home.

Collicut-6 and Collicutt-15 appear to represent the same person because: Similar name of wife. Both sons born in Lunenberg. From the transcribed records on Rootsweb freepages, Collicut appears to be the preferred LNAB. Thanks for reviewing.
