Jessie Elizabeth Collier was born on May 10, 1901, in Barnesville, Lamar, Georgia, United States, daughter of Jena Cuthbert Collier (1866–1944) and Jessie Stephens (1865–1952).[1]
Jessie (age 28) married Clarence Monroe Ruffner (age 37) (son of James Alexander Chapman Ruffner and Huldah (Stephens) Ruffner) on May 16, 1929, in Macon, Georgia, United States.[2] They had the following children:
- Nancy Ruffner Anderson (1932-2004)
- Monroe Stephens Ruffner (b. 1934)
Jessie died on May 12, 2004, in Barnesville, Lamar, Georgia, United States, aged 103.[1][3][4]
