Amanda "Mandy" was born about 1848. She married James Breeden about 1877. They had 8 known children. It is unclear exactly when she died or where she is buried. Although is believed to be prior to 1910 as no records are found for her after the 1900 census.

Amanda Collier is shown as "Mandy Shifflett" on some of her children's certificates. No marriage to a Shifflett has been found to date. Unclear why it appears this way. The only place this is shown in a Find-A-Grave entry (#229634003) that has no source records or additional data and shows her married to Hiram Shifflett who was actually married to her sister Louisa.
