Charles Francis Peter Collingridge was born in 1844 at Godington Manor, Bicester, Oxfordshire, England. He was the eldest son of William Collingridge and Louisa Maguire.[1] He was the eldest brother of artist, Arthur Collingridge.[2]
He migrated from England to the Colony of New South Wales.
In 1878, he was the Roman Catholic chaplain to Darlinghurst Gaol.[3]
He was the Roman Catholic chaplain to the New South Wales military contingent that went to the Sudan War in 1885.[4]
He passed away in 1907.
