Elizabeth Maria Collings was born in 1803 in York, New Brunswick, Canada. [1][2][3][4] She was the daughter of Benjamin Collins and Anne Gibson her father, Benjamin, was 46, and her mother, Anne, was 38. She married Charles MacLeod Stewart on September 23, 1822 [5][6] , in her hometown. They had nine children in 25 years. She died in 1880 in Taymouth, York, New Brunswick, Canada,[1] having lived a long life of 77 years, and was buried in the 42nd Highland Memorial Cemetery, Nashwaak Bridge, York County, New Brunswick, Canada.[1][7]
