Eliza was born in 1806 in Stithians, Cornwall, England. She was baptised on the 28 Aug, 1807. At some point she moved to Budock, Cornwall where met and married Thomas Rashleigh on 11 Oct 1828. She lived in Budock for the next 20 years or so before moving to Falmouth where she died in 1884 aged 77.6 years.
Thomas and Eliza had 7 children together. After Thomas's death she worked as a charwoman to have a small income.
