Biography

Lee Boyd Collins was the son of Daniel Sylvester Collins and Lettie Ann Littlepage.

In the 1880 US Census, Lee's occupation is listed as Driving Team. He was 17 years old. Driving team meant that he was a horse-drawn truck driver, working for someone else. For the time period this usually meant working full-time for someone else. Usually the loads were large items, such as logs, or large amounts of items, such as delivering between trains and stores.
