Henry Collins was born on 29 January 1897, in Paintsville, Johnson, Kentucky, United States, his father, Collins-15928, was 21 and his mother, Lawson-5763 was 21.[1] He married Spradlin-336 Oct 30, 1919, in Paintsville, Johnson, Kentucky, United States.[2]

They were the parents of at least 6 sons and 6 daughters. He lived in Magisterial District 6, Lawrence, Kentucky, United States in 1930[3] and Magisterial District 3, Floyd, Kentucky, United States in 1940.[4]

He died on 30 December 1966, in Melvin, Floyd, Kentucky, United States, at the age of 78, and was buried in Melvin, Floyd, Kentucky, United States.[5]
