Biography

Jerusha Collins was the daughter of Peter Collins and Mary Cheever of Liverpool, Nova Scotia[1]

On December 25, 1796, she married Bradford Harlow, the son of Josiah and Olive (Hunt) Harlow, who also emigrated to Liverpool, Nova Scotia[2] [3]. Their children included:

  1. Olive, born November 5, 1797[3],who married John Cobb in 1815[4], and who died in 1867[5]
  2. Augusta, born December 8, 1799[3], who married Robert MacDonald[6]
  3. Amelia (or Pamelia), born March 4 1802[3], who married Joseph Lewis
  4. Jerusha, born October 21, 1804[3], who married Martin McNutt and died in 1881 (See FAG 182417367)
  5. Bradford, Jr., born Sept 20 1806[3], who married Letitia Locke[7]
  6. George born August 20 1808[3], who married Louisa Beals[8]
  7. Andrew Webster, born August 19, 1810[3]
  8. Mary Collins, born September 23 1812[3]
