Biography
Laura was born in Greenville, Greene CO. NY in 1807. She married Elias Beach in 1838 and had two sons: Eugene and Elias. After her husband died in 1842, she and her children lived with her father. In 1870, she was living in Johnstown NY with her son Elias and in 1880 in Gloversville with Eugene. She died in Gloversville in 1898 and was buried in Greenville Cemetery, Section 1, Greene Co, New York
According to a letter from her great granddaughter Helen Heagle, Laura Collins's ancestors came to Greenville "by blazed trail" from Conn.
