Fortune Collin, daughter of Laurence Collin, was born on 5 November 1655. Her birth (but not a baptism) was registered at the church of St Peter, Nottingham, Nottinghamshire, England. The entry took place sometime between 25 and 30 December 1655.[1]

Fortune married Thomas Smith (as his second wife) on 27 February 1681/2 at the parish church of St Peter, Nottingham.[3]
