Ernest was born 1877. He was the son of Samuel Collins]] and Margaret Whitfield. Nebraska marriages show he married Clara Norris on 06 Jun 1900. His father is listed as Thomas Collins and his mother as "Hannah"? Whitfield. He passed away after 1951. He was alive when his brother Fred died. California death certificate shows he died 02 Aug 1958. Death certificate shows mother as Margaret A. Whitfield.
